The Emirates NBD Million Dirham Putt competition is drawing closer to its climax, with just two rounds left to find UAE's next millionaire.

Dubai, 17 January, 2018: The Emirates NBD Million Dirham Putt competition is drawing closer to its climax, with just two rounds left to find UAE’s next millionaire. The thrilling competition returns to offer both amateur and non-golfers from across Dubai, and beyond, the chance to putt their way to the life changing AED 1,000,000 cash prize.

Teeing off on January 11th, at 10am, for ten straight days at City Walk II, the nine-hole putting contest puts each and every contestant to the ultimate test. Each contestant will look to complete the uniquely designed course in the lowest possible score, for that chance to move one step closer to taking home the million dirham prize.

All participants will be added to the live leaderboard with the top ten contestants from across the locations qualifying for the Grand Final. This will be held at the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic on January 28th 2018, with the winner of the final progressing to attempt the Emirates NBD Million Dirham Putt.

That single contestant who qualifies from the Grand Final will have the privilege of walking out onto the official practice putting green of the world-renowned Majlis Course at the Emirates Golf Club, immediately after the final putt has been holed at the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic, for one putt, and one chance to win that one million dirhams.

The putt will be made in front of thousands of spectators and if the contestant is successful they will walk away with AED 1,000,000 cash. In the event the putt is not made, the contestant will still be rewarded with a breath-taking, money cannot buy experience for two.

The competition is open to amateur golfers and non-golfers, and every contestant is able to enter the competition more than once across multiple days.
