Dubai, 17 November, 2016: Emirates NBD, one of the leading banking Groups in the region, celebrated Children’s Day with students of the Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities by organising a fun-filled play ‘eduplay’ outing at the Mattel Play! Town in City Walk, Jumeirah. The activity was organised as part of Emirates NBD’s strategic and long-term commitment to people with disabilities, under its flagship advocacy platform, #TogetherLimitless.

The students engaged in interactive entertainment experiences that foster creative imagination with characters from Mattel’s widely popular brands: Barney™, Thomas & Friends™, Bob the Builder™, Angelina Ballerina™, and Fireman Sam™ and were audience to educational live shows that are aimed to facilitate the development of social skills in young children.

Staff volunteers from Emirates NBD’s Exchanger Programme and educators from Al Noor Centre were present with the children, as they explored the various facets of the play facility.

Emirates NBD’s #TogetherLimitless platform aims to further the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities in the UAE and lend its full support to the ‘My Community’ initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council that is working towards transforming Dubai to a disability-friendly city by 2020.
